Born 1935 in Berlin, 1960-1970 Assistent Professor of Sociology, University of Göttingen, Germany, and Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research, New York, USA;  1970 – 2000 Professor of Sociology at the Free University of Berlin;  1973 co-founder of the Berlin Gestalt Center  (GZB); Most important teacher of Gestalttherapy: Isadore From,  New York. Since 1975 individual praxis for Gestalt Therapy in Berlin, Trainer and Supervisor for Gestalt Therapy in several training institutes in Germany and other European countries. Many publications in Gestalt Therapy, most recently: The Art of Living and the Joy of Life – Growth and Maturity in Gestalt Therapy. 2018.
